My Speech On Cutting Down Trees
Can you produce oxygen yourself?
DON’T CUT DOWN TREES!
Here’s why Trees are important. They absorb all of the carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, they help keep the soil moist and give off the fresh oxygen we need to breath and live a healthy life!
If you walk around Hong Kong you will notice that the air is crowded with awful smells. If you walk in the mountain tops of DB which is a really rural area you will be able to smell the difference this is because trees absorb all of the CO2 bad air which is helping to cause global warming. That’s why we need to stop cutting down our trees. So what would happen if the trees were gone?….. Nothing will be there to absorb the bad air also a world with out trees would be a world with out beauty, animals would have no homes as they would lose their habitat. You should think aboat the animals they need us and we need them. How would you like it if your home was suddenly taken away from you.
Every two minutes of the day a tree is cut down, which means about 2000 trees are being cut down in one whole day. So that means if you keep cutting down trees there wont be as many people on Earth because our trees take away the bad smells which people breathe in causing them illnesses and allergies.
So lets take action now, RECYCLE paper write on the back it doesn’t matter. REUSE it doesn’t cost 1 little penny and finally REDUCE the bad dirty pollution. WALK TO SCHOOL BE ECO-FRIENDLY OR EVEN RIDE YOUR BIKE this way you will be exercising and saving the environment. I thank you very much for the time you have taken to listen to me but don’t just listen do something about it and get your voice heard. Thank you.
The Chinese Holiday Break
In the holidays I got a new pug and we went though all these diffrent names like Pudding, FB, Bruse, Gizmo till we finally came to a disition it was Monty and that was final, by the way he is my dog.
When we brought him home to show my other dog Ozzie. He wasn’t pleased and still isont. Monty keeps chasing Ozzie but Ozzie won’t have it. They keep bitting each other espeshily Monty because he is tething.
Last night Monty weed on my bed and it was a desaster because in the middle of the night we had to change my bedding over because it went right thourgh on to the quilt.

Whats Happening In England
Ships in England have been warned to keep clear of the wood floting in the sea in between France and England. Around 1,500 tpeices of wood was lost from a Russian ship, just off the coast of south east England The wood was being taken by ship from Sweden to Egypt where it was to be used by the builders. Experts say it is mostly likely to start washing up onto the beaches in the U.K and they also say the main problem is probably the rough seas may have been the reason for the wood to be in the sea. Aircraft’s have been flying over the sea to see how dangerous it is for the ships.
In January 2008 around 2,000 tonnes of wood ended in the British seas after a Greek ship carrying it and sank off the coast of Dorset.
What Is Going On In The world!
A couple of days ago a plane crash landed safely on the Hudson River in the USA. It was a miracle the plane did note break up and all the passenger’s survived because of the skill of the captain skill.
It was shortly after take off the captain reported birds had flown in to the engines of the plane. Soon after one of the engines caught fire and the plane lost power. The capitain and his first office had to act quickly and nearly missing another plane landed on to the Hudson River.
It was a miracle because no plane had crash landed safely on water before.
My Holiday At Christmas
My holiday was great, I spent time with my family and friends while we stayed in Hong Kong because my grandparents came over to visit from London, they said they were pleased to be somewhere warmer. It was very cold during the winter so we had to pile clothes on to our bodies to keep ourselves warm. I was very excited at Christmas time because of the thought I would be receiving lots of prezzies from people I know.
My favourite part was when, I woke up early in the morning on Christmas day to find a jungle of presents. I didn’t know where to start! Gradually opening them I got more and more excited. It took about 1 minutes to open all the presents because I was so excited to see what I had got. Once they were all opened I didn’t now what to play with first but although I was thinking about all though poor people who don’t get any presents because they cant afford it.

I do I have one but i used to have three. One was a hamster but it died then I got a puppy then another puppy but we had to get rid of my second puppy. My hamster was called little fella and my puppy that i still have is Ozzie and he is five and my other puppy was jack he was six months old. Jack was black and white Ozzie is badge and white and little fella was white black and badge.

Children are more worried about how they look than being bullied, according to a survey of more than 150,000 kids. Just over 13 kids have been worrying about their bodies, while just under that number said bullying concerned them. Exams were the biggest worry for the children, aged 10-15 and from England, with more than half choosing them. Almost three quarters of the children said they were happy with their lives, with fewer than one in 10 unhappy.
